G2 and Domino racers totally dominate the MotoAmerica Superbike class last
weekend at Ridge Motorsports Park in Shelton, Washington. Race 1 on Saturday
saw G2 Monster Energy Attack Performance Yamaha’s Cameron Beaubier (#1) take
the win by 8 seconds over Domino Westby Racing’s Mathew Scholz (#11). Domino
M4 ECSTAR Suzuki’s Bobby Fong (#50) took third, with G2 Monster Energy Attack
Performance Yamaha’s Jake Gagne (#32) at fourth, and Domino M4 ECSTAR
Suzuki’s Tony Elias (#24) rounding out the top five.
Sunday’s Race 2 saw G2 and Domino racers earning the top 4 positions. Beaubier
won again, with Gagne, Fong and Scholtz finishing close behind.
The Monster Energy Attack Performance Yamaha riders Beaubier and Gagne use
the the G2 Competition Quick Turn Throttle, while the Westby Racing and M4
ECSTAR Suzuki riders Scholz, Fong and Elias use Domino XM2 Throttle Systems and
Domino MotoGP Grips.
Next up for Team G2/Domino Racers is round six of the MotoAmerica
Championship at New Jersey Motorsports Park in Millville, New Jersey, on
September 11 through 13.
